Satu benda yg aku SELALU notice kat breastfeeding & working mothers ni ialah problem SUSU KURANG bila pump.
Mcm yg terjadi kat aku baru2 ni… and a few of my friends pun sama jugak. Elok2 pam dpt berkodi2.. tetiba bila pam.. dpt 1-2 oz jer… saper tak sakit jiwa? Tambah2 bila nak start keje.. bila stok susu dlm peti ais dah kurang.. J
So mcm mana nak buat klu jadi mcm ni?
Klu ikut experience aku yg tak seberapa ni.. my advice would be INCREASE PUMPING SESSION. Bukan increase the pumping DURATION ye.. lain tuh..
P. Session ni mcm instead of pam 2 kali kat ofis.. tambah la ke 3 kali…
P. Duration ni mcm how long time spent during each pumping session. Normal duration would be 15-20 mins. Tak yah la tambah2 nak pam sampai sejam ke dua jam.. tak de faedah pon…
Ada cara lain mcm buat power pump and ada lagi satu menatang apa tah pump.. basically menda2 ni mcm pump 10 mins, rehat 5 mins, then cont again the cycle sampai la 60 mins. The exact detail aku tak ingat pasal aku tak pernah buat. But others yg dah pernah buat cakap mmg berkesan utk increase milk production. You can always google for the info.
As for my pumping / feeding schedule, here it goes:
8.30 am – Sampai ofis.. pam!11.30 am – pam
2.30 pm – balik lunch, solat and pam
5.30 pm – solat, pam again.
Balik rumah, around maghrib camtuh, direct feed baby sampai la pagi esok. I don’t have specific schedule utk direct feeding, pasal aku feed on demand basis. Asal anak aku nganga, aku sumbat..kuikuikui….
So kalau ada problem cenggini.. try dulu increase pumping session before buat benda2 lain… tapi jgn ler expect instant result.. mebbe in a week or two baru nampak hasil.. and most importantly… JGN RISAU2… bila risau2 tu yg susu jadik sikit.. enjoy every pumping session!
p/s - susu aku masuk season tengkujuh dah lagik sekalik... asyik2 ambik stok manjang.. iskk.. tapi tak per.. meh kita pump without worries!
